Hello, this is Ioanna, so glad to have you here! As the founder of Coconut Gal, I would like to share with you my story. 

Coconut Gal was born from saltwater dreams, sun-drenched memories, and a deep desire to create something that went far beyond swimwear. As a lifelong lover of the ocean and an advocate for slow, conscious living, I always felt there was a gap in the market for a brand that truly spoke to the heart of adventurous, soulful women. Not just a swimwear label—but a lifestyle, a sisterhood, a movement.

My journey began with a sketchbook full of ideas and a longing to craft pieces that felt like home—bold, free-spirited, elegant, and ethically made. I didn’t want just another swimsuit. I wanted wearable stories, infused with meaning and designed for real moments under the sun.

I spent months researching the best sustainable materials that are soft on the skin and kind to the planet. All our swimwear is crafted from ECONYL®—a regenerated nylon made from ocean waste like fishing nets and industrial plastic, giving new life to what was once discarded. I partnered with local artisans and ethical manufacturers who share my vision of quality, fairness, and environmental responsibility. Every stitch in our pieces supports not only the women who wear them but also the communities who make them.
